Holistic Prenatal Massage
All prenatal massages are individually customized just like our holistic massage appointments. The Licensed Massage Therapist will integrate a variety of massage techniques and bodywork modalities (safe for pregnancy) based on your preferences. We also include high quality oil blends, hot towels, and heat packs as desired or clinically indicated. The LMT specializes in prenatal massage and will work with folks during any stage of their pregnancy. These sessions include the use of pillows and bolsters to create luxurious comfort while receiving the massage in the side-lying position.

Holistic Postpartum Massage
All postpartum massages are individually customized just like our holistic massage appointments. The Licensed Massage Therapist will integrate a variety of massage techniques and bodywork modalities (specifically tailored for after pregnancy) based on your preferences. We also include high quality oil blends, hot towels, and heat packs as desired or clinically indicated. The LMT specializes in postpartum massage and is familiar with the unique physical/emotional challenges that caring for an infant creates. These sessions include the use of pillows and bolsters to create luxurious comfort while receiving the massage in the either in side-lying position or while face down (depending on the type of birth experience.)

Usui Reiki Therapy

During a Reiki session with a licensed massage therapist, you'll typically lie comfortably on a heated massage table. Starting from your head and working their way down to your feet, the practitioner begins by gently placing their hands on (or slightly above) specific receptive points of the body, remaining at each point for 3 to 5 minutes. You may feel a gentle warmth or tingling sensation emanating from their hands, but there's no pressure or soft-tissue manipulation involved. With a focus on the traditional Japanese teachings of Mikao Usui, our sessions incorporate sacred symbols to amplify the flow of energy (known as ki or chi). As the session concludes, you may feel deeply relaxed, rejuvenated, and more in tune with your body and emotions. Many people report experiencing a sense of peace, clarity, and heightened awareness after a Reiki session, which can last long after the session ends.
Usui Reiki therapy is great for folks experiencing stress, anxiety, insomnia, grief/loss, and chronic pain. It’s also a good modality for someone who is looking to reintroduce or explore safe touch in a relaxing and peaceful environment.

Combining Holistic Massage + Usui Reiki therapy offers a unique opportunity to become more in tune with your body and emotions, ultimately promoting a profound sense of peace and well-being. Tap into your body's natural ability to heal itself and feel deeply relaxed, refreshed and balanced on all levels.

After the conclusion of your customized 60 or 90 minute holistic massage, your Licensed Massage Therapist will use the ancient technique of Cupping (along with an anti-inflammatory topical and hot towels) to provide extra relief to your problem areas. Cups create suction to improve local circulation, reduce musculoskeletal and joint pain, stretch muscles and tendons, create space for impinged nerves, tonify the lungs, improve breathing/immunity, and more!
